The Model Rules of Professional Conduct provides an up-to-date resource for information on legal ethics. Federal, state and local courts in all jurisdictions look to the Rules for guidance in solving lawyer malpractice cases, disciplinary actions, disqualification issues, sanctions questions and much more. In this volume, black-letter Rules of Professional Conduct are followed by numbered Comments that explain each Rule's purpose and provide suggestions for its practical application. The Rules will help you identify proper conduct in a variety of given situations, review those instances where discretionary action is possible, and define the nature of the relationship between you and your clients, colleagues and the courts.

The main idea behind the series of volumes Advances in Petri Nets is to present to the general computer science community recent results which are the most representative and significant for the development of the area. Thepapers for the volumes are drawn mainly from the annual International Conferences on Applications and Theory of Petri Nets. Selected papers from the latest conference are independently refereed, and revised and extended as necessary. Some further papers submitted directly to the editor are included. Advances in Petri Nets 1991 covers the 11th International Conference on Applications and Theory of Petri Nets held in Paris, France in June 1991. The volume contains the Bibliography of Petri Nets 1990 prepared by H. Pl}nnecke and W. Reisig, with over 4000 entries.

Radar Data Processing with Applications Radar Data Processing with Applications He You, Xiu Jianjuan, Guan Xin, Naval Aeronautical and Astronautical University, China A summary of thirty years’ worth of research, this book is a systematic introduction to the theory, development, and latest research results of radar data processing technology. Highlights of the book include sections on data pre-processing technology, track initiation, and data association. Readers are also introduced to maneuvering target tracking, multiple target tracking termination, and track management theory. In order to improve data analysis, the authors have also included group tracking registration algorithms and a performance evaluation of radar data processing. Presents both classical theory and development methods of radar data processing Provides state-of-the-art research results, including data processing for modern radars and tracking performance evaluation theory Includes coverage of performance evaluation, registration algorithm for radar networks, data processing of passive radar, pulse Doppler radar, and phased array radar Features applications for those engaged in information engineering, radar engineering, electronic countermeasures, infrared techniques, sonar techniques, and military command Radar Data Processing with Applications is a handy guide for engineers and industry professionals specializing in the development of radar equipment and data processing. It is also intended as a reference text for electrical engineering graduate students and researchers specializing in signal processing and radars.

This is a thorough description of this increasingly important technology, starting from the development of head-up displays (HUDs), particularly specifications and standards and operational problems associated with HUD use. HUD involvement in spatial disorientation and its use in recognizing and recovering from unusual attitudes is discussed. The book summarizes the design criteria including hardware, software, interface and display criteria. It goes on to outline flight tasks to be used for evaluating HUDs and discusses the impact of HUDs on flight training. Recent work indicates that a HUD may allow a significant reduction in the time required to train a pilot on a particular aircraft, even considering non-HUD-related tasks. The author concludes with a review of unresolved HUD issues and recommendations for further research and provides an impressive bibliography, glossary and index. Within the military aviation sector the book will be of use to industry, research agencies, test pilot schools and air force training establishments. In the civil area regulatory authorities, airlines and industry will also have an increasing interest.
