Ralphie and Mike are great friends and love to spend time together. One day after school, Ralphie asks his mother if he can go out to play. When she says yes, he runs over to his friend Mikes house and asks if he come out to play with him. Together, they decide to go to their favorite place to playthe park. They romp on the swings and play on the slide and the monkey bars. After a few hours, they are tired and decide its time to walk home for dinner. On the way, they see their favorite tree and decide to climb it. As they are climbing, they notice a very bright light at the top of the tree. While Ralphie decides to continue to climb to investigate what the bright light is, Mike decides to go home so he wont be late for dinner. Neither of them could have expected what Ralphie discovers at the top of that tree! Ralphie learns how to be a true friend to someone who needs it in the delightful story of Ralphies After-School Adventure.
