Book Description

Designed as a continuation of Welch (South-West Africa, Cape Town 1967), this bibliography provides a general and very briefly annotated introduction to publications on Namibia in the postwar period up to 1960. It is restricted to works examined in the collections of the South African Public Library and the University of Cape Town Library, with the exception of a few theses. A qualitative selection has been made, especially with regard to periodical articles, while articles in newspapers have been excluded. Among the 322 titles, there are several entries on geography and the different sectors of the economy. (Eriksen/Moorsom 1989).
