Excerpt from Preliminary Report of the Pennsylvania Board of Centennial Managers: With a List of the Officers and Members of the Board and of the Associated Committees Section 5. That the Governor, State Treasurer and Secretary of the Commonwealth, Shall constitute a permanent Advisory Committee of said Board, with the right to appoint its own Secretary at such compensation as it may designate, to which Committee shall be referred all communications from Governors or Executive Officers of other States of the Union, and such Committee may participate in all the deliberations of the State Board. Thus amended, the bill passed the Senate finally on the 17th March, 1875, and being returned to the House, that honorable body, on the same day, concurred in the amend ment.
