Single Valued Neutrosophic Hesitant Fuzzy Computational Algorithm for Multiobjective Nonlinear Optimization Problem

Book Description

In many real-life situations, it is often observed that the degree of indeterminacy (neutrality) plays an important role along with the satisfaction and dissatisfaction levels of the decision maker(s) (DM(s)) in any decision making process. Due to some doubt or hesitation, it may necessary for DM(s) to take opinions from experts which leads towards a set of conflicting values regarding satisfaction, indeterminacy and dis-satisfaction level of DM(s). In order to highlight the above-mentioned insight, we have developed an effective framework which reflects the reality involved in any decision-making process. In this study, a multiobjective nonlinear programming problem (MO-NLPP) has been formulated in the manufacturing system. A new algorithm, neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy programming approach (NHFPA), based on singlevalued neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy decision set has been proposed which contains the concept of indeterminacy hesitant degree along with truth and falsity hesitant degrees of different objectives. In order to show the validity and applicability of the proposed approach, a numerical example has been presented. The superiority of the proposed approach has been shown by comparing with other existing approaches. Based on the present work, conclusions and future scope have been presented.

Multi-objective non-linear four-valued refined neutrosophic optimization

Book Description

The neutrosophic sets are the prevailing frameworks that not only generalize the concept of fuzzy sets, but also analyse the connectivity of neutralities with different ideational spectra. In this article, we define a special type of neutrosophic set, named four-valued refined neutrosophic set (FVRNO), based on which various set-theoretic operators and properties of four-valued refined neutrosophic sets are studied. Often in many optimization problems of the real world, only the partial information about the values of parameters is available. In such situations, where impreciseness is involved in the information, classical techniques do not exhibit an appropriate optimal solution. A new concept to handle imprecise information is introduced and computational algorithm is formulated in four-valued refined neutrosophic environment. The new concept of optimization problem is an extension of intuitionistic fuzzy optimization as well as single-valued neutrosophic optimization.

Fuzzy Multi Item Inventory Model with Deterioration and Demand Dependent Production Cost Under Space Constraint: Neutrosophic Hesitant Fuzzy Programming Approach

Book Description

In this paper, we have developed a multi-objective inventory model with constant demand rate, under the limitation on storage of space. Production cost is considered in demand dependent and the deterioration cost is considered in average inventory level dependent. Also inventory holding cost is dependent on time.

Neutrosophic Optimization Model and Computational Algorithm for Optimal Shale Gas Water Management under Uncertainty

Book Description

Shale gas energy is the most prominent and dominating source of power across the globe. The processes for the extraction of shale gas from shale rocks are very complex. In this study, a multi objective optimization framework is presented for an overall water management system that includes the allocation of freshwater for hydraulic fracturing and optimal management of the resulting wastewater with different techniques. The generated wastewater from the shale fracking process contains highly toxic chemicals. The optimal control of a massive amount of contaminated water is quite a challenging task.
