This one-mile stretch from the U.S. Capitol to a magnificent waterfront terminus on the Anacostia River has all the potential to rival the great urban boulevards of the world. This study provides info. regarding design, open space, & land use that will be used in a larger effort, the South Capitol Street/Gateway Improvement Study that is now underway.
