Space Detectives is 3 stories about Steve Titanic & Gordon Gatt, Intergalactic Investigators, Space Detectives if you will, working for Earth Force One to help keep the Universe free of criminals and safe for ordinary citizens. In the three stories the two detectives encounter a madman who has an Earthquake machine and wants to extort billions not to use it. As proof he devastates the planet of Veronda with it. Then Steve and his good friend Doctor Mogumber go on a time travel adventure only to have their time travel machine stolen by an alien race that plans to enslave the whole universe from the beginning of time. Story One: THE EARTHQUAKE MACHINE: It is brought to Earth Force One's attention that the Planet Veronda has been beset by devastating Earthquake's. Earth's eminent scientist, Doctor Mogumber has determined the quakes are man-made and track's the activities to an undersea lab, beneath Veronda itself. Steve and Gordon take-off to stop and arrest the madman. Along the way, they get help from a beautiful woman b the name of Aimee, though even though she rescues Steve from the Color Machine that's designed to drive men insane, they are not entirely sure of her motives... Story Two: Time Travel Blues: Doctor Mogumber is contacted by an old friend that wants to see him about something important. He is driven there by Steve Titanic. The friend imparts that he has built a time travel machine but needs Doctor Mogumber's invention to supply the energy. Doctor Mogumber agrees to do it and he and Steve and Doctor Mogumber are off for the adventure of their lives. Story Three: In Pursuit of Doctor Jynn: The same madman that had the Earthquake Machine surfaces again. This time he has hacked into the Pentagon and has stolen military secrets. With the help of Doctor Mogumber and Aimee they track him to an uninhabited Asteroid. Just when Steve thinks he has the elusive Jynn, the mad scientist sets the self-destruct in his laboratory.
