In the enlightening anthology 'The Zodiac and the Salts of Salvation', George W. Carey and Inez Eudora Perry present a unique amalgamation of esoteric astrology and biochemistry, offering an unprecedented perspective on health and spirituality. This collection draws from a vast spectrum of philosophical, scientific, and mystical thought, weaving together ancient wisdom with early 20th-century discoveries in cellular biology and mineralogy. Highlighting the intricate relationship between the zodiac signs and specific cell salts in the human body, this work stands as a cornerstone in its field, offering deep insights into the holistic understanding of human well-being. Carey and Perry, both pioneers in their respective fields, bring forth a synergy of their extensive knowledge and research, aligning with the historical and cultural shift towards integrating alternative medicine and spiritual practices with scientific understanding. Their backgrounds in metaphysical studies and biochemistry, respectively, enable a rich, multi-layered exploration of the interplay between cosmic influences and physical health, solidifying the collection's place in the cross-disciplinary dialogue of early 20th-century thought. 'The Zodiac and the Salts of Salvation' is an essential read for those intrigued by the convergence of astrology, medicine, and spirituality. This anthology not only enriches the reader's understanding of the body's intimate connection to the cosmos but also encourages a broadening of perspectives towards health and healing. As a seminal work bridging diverse fields, it invites readers into a dialogue that transcends traditional boundaries, offering profound insights into the essence of human vitality and the expansive nature of consciousness.

Witchcraft, occultism, paranormal science, and mysticism are growing like plagues in the Western world. These phenomena have baffled modern educators and conventional rationalists, since such activities seem to be completely opposed to everything that the public schools have taught for over a hundred years. Worst of all in the minds of conventional secularists, all this discussion of demonic forces may lead to an even more appalling conclusion: the idea that God, also a supernatural force, may reappear in the modern, "post-Christian" world. At all costs, a God who can make himself felt in time and on earth must be avoided. Mysticism is one thing—totally internalized—but supernatural forces are not supposed to have any impact on external, so-called phenomenal affairs. Occultism is another form of humanism. It is the product of the quest for power apart from God and His law-order. It was not a major force in the so-called "Dark Ages." Not until the fifteenth century did witchcraft become a serious problem in Europe, and it was the Renaissance, not medievalism, which sparked the great explosion of demonism and magic in the sixteenth century. During the period of the early Middle Ages (A.D. 500-1000), there were practically no signs of witchcraft in Europe. Only with the revival of ancient Gnosticism and the invasion of Middle Eastern dualism did signs of widespread witchcraft reappear. Occultism and humanism are not sworn enemies; they are first cousins. It was only the influence of Christian principles, which laid such stress on the orderliness of God's universe, that made possible the confidence of modern rationalists in denying the influence of supernatural forces. As the confidence in creation-law has waned in this century, "rational" humanism has become increasingly unsuccessful in retarding the expansion of occult humanism. This Journal of Christian Reconstruction offers readers the necessary evidence for a refutation of the familiar charge that occultism and religion necessarily go together, and that only a hard-headed rationalism can restrain the forces of spiritual anarchy. Far from retarding occultism, modern rationalism's blindness to the reality of occult forces is now creating a perverse inquisitiveness on the part of modernism's children, who have learned to be critical of everything, including old-fashioned rationalism. The philosophy of the "open universe"—closed to God—has produced the new occult experimentalism. If anything except Christian orthodoxy might be true, why not find out through personal observation and experiment? Since 1965, the Western world has faced the greatest explosion of occultism that it has seen in three hundred years. This time no one can blame orthodox Christianity: it has been the secularists who have wielded the power.

A medical doctor and American mystic explores the relationship between homeopathic remedies and the 12 zodiac signs in this classic text. The Zodiac and the Salts of Salvation combines scientific and spiritual knowledge to provide a holistic, astrology-based approach to wellness. Expanding on Dr. George W. Carey’s treatise, The Relation of the Mineral Salts of the Body to the Signs of the Zodiac, this two-part volume presents a thorough introduction to the esoteric chemistry of the human body. In Part 1, Dr. Carey discusses each homeopathic remedy and how it relates to the body’s physiology. In Part 2, co-author Inez Eudora Perry explains the meaning, origin and spiritual significance of each zodiac sign in both eastern and western religion, as well as masonic texts. The authors then detail how each of the homeopathic remedies behave in the body depending on the person’s sun sign and the current phase of the solar calendar. First published in 1932, The Zodiac and the Salts of Salvation remains an important and informative guide for all students of homeopathy and astrology.

Named "Christian" to avoid hassles (some things never change), this is the most famous, the most celebrated astrology book in the English language. It has been prized by students ever since its first publication in 1647. The Horary Astrology in these pages, in the hands of a master, is no mere parlour game. It is demanding and precise, combining science and art. Properly used, it will give answer to any well-defined question. William Lilly, famous throughout England for his almanacs & forecasts (he predicted London's Great Fire of 1666), lived during the English Civil War & was a minor historical figure in it. Into his studio came the rich and poor, nobles and commoners, with problems great and small. This new edition restores Lilly's original page layouts, with marginalia. Modern spelling throughout, this edition includes Lilly's bibliography, his original index & a new glossary. Also includes his original woodblock charts, and their modern versions. This is Lilly's great work as he himself knew it. In this volume: Book 1, An Introduction to Astrology, containing the use of an ephemeris; the erecting of a scheme of heaven; nature of the twelve signs of the Zodiac, of the planets; with a most easy introduction to the whole art of astrology. Book 2, The Resolution of All Manner of Questions, by a most methodical way, instructs the student how to judge or resolve all manner of questions contingent unto man, viz, of health, sickness, riches, marriage, preferment, journeys, etc. Some 35 questions inserted and judged.
