The book really gets in to the details of how to price and sell used merchandise, both at local venues like flea markets and consignment stores, as how to sell on eBay, Craigslist, and Amazon. An entire sub-chapter is devoted to how to test gold jewelry, and get the best price for scrap gold and silver. Numerous case histories of actual units that were purchased in a time period spanning from 1993 to the 2013 give a feel of what it is really like outside of the world of reality TV. Finally, the book covers the rules and regulations, including items that are prohibited from sale, what to do if you find a firearm in a storage unit, proper disposal of hazardous materials, and sales tax and income tax issues. This book is an original work based on the author's own experience and research, and is among the best current reference materials on the subject.
