Book Description
Excerpt from The Baraboo Iron-Bearing District of Wisconsin The following report describes the Baraboo district of south ern Wisconsin, a district which has lately come into prominence on account of the discovery of iron ore. Field work was begun in the district May 4, 1903, and the larger part of three months was devoted to the mapping of outcrops of quartzite and a study of the geologic structure of the district. In the field the writer was assisted by Mr. W. D. Smith. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
