The illustrations show the magical and fantasy world of Sansarinaga and also the world Jainal comes from - Sabah, on the island of Borneo. This book won an Encouragement Prize in the Noma Concours for Picture Book Illustrations 2008 organised by the Asia-Pacific Cultural Centre for UNESCO in Tokyo.
