He was the son of Thomas Page and Lydia Bixby and in 1749 married Abiah Flanders (b. 1727), daughter of Phillip Flanders and Joanna Smith. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, Nebraska, New York, Illinois, Missouri, and elsewhere.

Book Description

Edmund Rice was born ca. 1594 in Stanstead, Suffolk, England. He married Thomasine Frost (1599-1654) in 1618 in England. They had 10 children. The family immigrated to New England ca. 1638. Edmund died in 1663 in Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. His descendant, Asa (Noble) Rice (1795-ca. 1880) and his wife Sally (Melendy), emigrated from Vermont to Canada ca. 1817 and eventually settled in Wakefield Township, Quebec. Descendants live throughout Canada and the United States.
