The Third Testament

Book Description

Anna Nikolaievna Schmidt was an externally unimpressive, unpretentions and nondescript person who never married. She was a newspaper reporter and selfdesignated humanitarian in Nizhni-Novgorod, Russia, where she spent the majority of her life, living 1851 to 1905. Apart from Schmidt the human was Schmidt the mystic and spirit-person. She received revelation in 1885 that she was the incarnation of the Holy Spirit. She viewed the Third Person of the Triune Deity as God's Daughter, the feminine aspect of God, and which also had a heavenly name Margarita, and Anna Schmidt was Margarita on Earth and the spirit-wife of Jesus. Schmidt likewise is the personification of the Church of Jesus Christ on Earth, and she is assigned the task of creating the Church of the New Israel of the Third Testament of the Holy Spirit. This book is her testimony. Daniel H. Shubin has translated several books from Russian into English on Russian history, religion and philosophy.

The Argument for a Third Testament

Book Description

In the four chapters of this book are presented the argument for another Testament of the Lord's Word. It opens the mind of the reader that there have been four prior Churches established on earth by the Lord - the Most Ancient, the Ancient, the Israelitish / Jewish, and the Christian - and that in each of them God gave them His Word - the Spoken Word, the (written) Ancient Word, Old Testament, and the New Testament - so that they can be taught of God and be instructed in the good of life by Him. One sees that though these Churches had the Lord's Word, they all 'fell' from their love to the Lord and came to falsified the truth in these various Testaments or Covenants of the Word. It is shown that because mankind in the Most Ancient Church had lost conjunction with Jehovah (the Lord), that man could only learn of the Lord through his (own) understanding and so, there was only the Lord's presence with man and no longer conjunction. Thus, the man distorts the truth according to his own will; no longer is it according to the Lord's will, and eventually the man in these Churches comes to destroy the truth, and thus, these Churches, even the Christian Church has come to its end. In this book is revealed that through the fulfillment of the Lord coming into the spiritual world there has now come a new Word - the Word of the Divine Human (the glorified risen Lord) - and that through it a New (Christian) Church is now being established here on earth.

The Spirit of Truth

Book Description

Most of the Old Testament is devoted to the story of the Nation chosen by God through whom the Messiah would come into the world to bless all nations. The New Testament is devoted to the story of the man that nation produced and how his life, death, and resurrection give hope to sinful humanity through his kingdom. We see the genealogy of the man Jesus tracing his lineage from God through Abraham (Matthew 1:1). John the baptizer spoke of the kingdom being at hand and the one who would come after him who would baptize with the Holy Spirit. That one was Jesus Christ. He told his apostles that he would die, but he would be raised from the dead after three days; and after his resurrection, he would send the Spirit of truth, which the Father had promised them. And they would be baptized with the Holy Spirit. He told them that they would not be alone and helpless in the world. He said that he would send them a helper, a teacher, and a comforter to sustain and assist them in carrying out the church's mission. He called this helper the Holy Spirit. It would be the Holy Spirit's purpose to guide them into all truth and to remind them of all that Jesus had said and done. He instructed them to wait in Jerusalem until they had received the promise of the Father (Acts1:3-5, 1:8). All the Old Testament prophecies and promises came to fruition as recorded in the second chapter of Acts. The apostles were waiting just as Jesus had told them to wait. It was on the day of Pentecost in the city of Jerusalem (approximately AD 33) that the apostles were baptized with the Holy Spirit. They were immersed in the Holy Spirit. They were overwhelmed with the Holy Spirit""and they spoke the words of salvation through Jesus Christ to all nations (Acts 2:1-4).
