31 Days of Faith During Hard Times

Book Description

About the BookIn light of the daily struggles brought on by the current events worldwide, these questions are common: -What do I do now?-How am I supposed to go on?-How can I keep my family housed and fed without a job? These are real issues that are gripping every family across the globe and are causing people to have little hope and most likely zero faith. Those who do have faith are having it diminished without a clear end to the madness that is surrounding them at every turn. What are the answers and where do we find them?In life, trials and tests can hit, seemingly, out of nowhere. This devotional tackles how to scripturally handle all difficulties in life in relation to faith. Through a relationship with Jesus Christ, navigate through the wilderness and learn how to be a compass for others along the way. As the sun, rises over the land. Allow the Son, Jesus Christ, to rise up in your heart. Born from the ashes of the world wide disaster that has been unleashed upon us. There has been a significant rise in: -Crime-Suicide-Hatred-DivisionThis devotional is a tool for the reader to learn from and be able to find and strengthen our faith, witness to others and begin a discipleship to continue to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our communities. In order to find the answers to life's largest struggles, we have to examine the Scriptures and Theology that God has given us as our "owners manual".DescriptionDuring the three year Ministry of Jesus Christ, He focused on simplicity. He is the King of Kings, yet, when the people went to Him for teaching, He kept everything, Simple! That is the approach that this book takes. From the Cover through the Interior, Simplicity is a factor only, the message is the focus. The message is more important than anything else that could take the focus away from the reader.InteriorEach day is set up into five sections: -Verse with Commentary-Notes-Application-Reflection Journal-ReviewAt the end of every week there will be a Weekly Review, at the end of the book is the Monthly Review.GoalThe ultimate goal of this Devotional is to teach how everyone can apply the Word of God into their lives and the lives of others that are in need of help with finding and building faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. 365 Days of Praise, Thanksgiving & Assurance of God's Promises: Volume 3

Book Description

Volume 3 concludes the passages in the Old Testament. We look at the last portions of the Psalms to the book of Habakkuk. One thing stands out, ‘We are in constant warfare and praise is your weapon to win the battle.’ Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment — This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! Psalms 149:6-9 O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. Psalms 8:1-2 The Christian life is one of battle, whether or not we are aware of it. The devil doesn’t like the idea that you are a Christian and will do everything possible to fight against you. But thanks be to God, He has given us tools that aren’t physical weapons, but produces physical results, for we wage war not against flesh and blood, but spiritual forces in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12), and so the weapons we use in our battles aren’t the weapons of the world but God’s powerful weapons to pull down every stronghold (2 Corinthians 10:4). Some of our weapons are prayer, the word of God (Eph 6:17; Heb 4:12), and praise. Ephesians 6:13-18 encourages us on the need to be prepared for battle, being strong in the Lord and His mighty power, and putting on the full armor of God. In your mouth is strength. As you speak of the works of the Lord, you silence the enemy. Teach your Children to praise the Lord, to shame the devil. In the days of Nehemiah, the workers had both tools to build and swords for battle (Nehemiah 4:17-18). We must employ both tools (the word of God and praise) in our time. We need both for a successful walk in Christ. In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you… 1 Thessalonians 5:18
