Focusing on the marbled murrelet, a small seabird found in coastal areas of North America from central California to Alaska, this assessment was prepared specifically for use in the revision of the Tongass National Forest land management plan which is designed to ensure the long-tern viability of wildlife populations dependent on habitats within the forest.
