A Fool's Endeavor

Book Description

The king is dead, the child princess has been stolen away, and the court jester is left bleeding and drowning in the moat: Castle Acalathoy has been dealt a mortal blow. With the only heir to the throne taken in the night, the fate of the kingdom is sealed. The soldiers have been slaughtered, the knights laid waste, and there is no hero foolish enough to go after the princess. But Jester Lure has survived, and he will not be detoured.Against all odds, the fate of the princess lies in the hands of her personal jester, a peculiar man who hides more than his face under his mask. He has nothing left to lose and no intention of turning back. He, along with a small group of similarly unlikely companions- an apprentice who is merely an extension of his master and a knight driven only by guilt- must risk their lives in a hopeless journey across a dangerous land. Wildlife running havoc, bandits, pale folk with saccharine smiles, and other dangers are waiting along their path. It is them against an unrelenting world, and the group must learn to function together if they plan on surviving. With tension within the group, inexperience, and a lack of even basic weapons, this is easier said than done. It's foolish to believe that they can save the princess from a fate nearly worse than death, but a foolish endeavor is not yet a hopeless one, and their trials have only just begun. For the fate of the princess, for the fate of their lives, and all relying on a foolish endeavor.

A Revelation of Life Endeavors

Book Description

A Revelation of Life Endeavors is a book about finding solutions to the myriad of Secular Problems that we face in Society from dealing with deviant sexual behavior like abortions, Homosexuality, Lesbianism, Same Sex Marriages, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Drugs of all types and Description, Corruption in Churches and Government as well as all types of crime in addition to wars, rumors of Wars and Propaganda leading to Wars. What should we do about the complexities of this complex society where just a small Spark could trigger A Nuclear War that could destroy the World. How do we deal with Immigration, Separation of children from their parents, Mass Shootings in our schools and many of our communities, Poor Education in our schools and more and more young men being sent to prisons How do we handle all of this. Is the Government the solution? I am afraid not because we, the People are the Solution. I believe a Total Spiritual Revolution is needed to change the fabric of thinking in our society and it must begin with The Church. The Church must be reformed to return to its Glory when Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and left the Church behind as the guiding Force for the Morality of mankind. We have long since departed from that role as the Church has been so watered down that Man’s Laws has almost replaced God’s Laws. Nothing is Sacred anymore, so I am afraid we are heading into a Sodom and Gommorah existence.. What can we do about it is the question. Our Organization, .Gangs For Jesus is our Solution. It teaches three Basic Principles; 1. Learn To be Humble. 2. Don’t Worship Money and Glamor and 3. Repent and Live or Stay Wicked and Die. A Puzzle for Fools

Book Description

This first act of a mystery series by an Edgar Award winner, Broadway producer/amateur sleuth Peter Duluth delivers “your money’s worth of theatrics” (Kirkus Reviews). Patrick Quentin, best known for the Peter Duluth puzzle mysteries, also penned outstanding detective novels from the 1930s through the 1960s under other pseudonyms, including Q. Patrick and Jonathan Stagge. Anthony Boucher wrote: “Quentin is particularly noted for the enviable polish and grace which make him one of the leading American fabricants of the murderous comedy of manners; but this surface smoothness conceals intricate and meticulous plot construction as faultless as that of Agatha Christie.” Peter Duluth was once an up-and-comer on the Great White Way. But after his wife died, he dove into a bottle and stayed there. It’s only when he’s about to hit rock bottom that he decides to dry out, admitting himself into rehab to save his life. Unfortunately, Peter’s new home turns out to be even more dangerous than the outside world when a staff member is murdered, and a patient soon checks out in a similar manner. Peter thinks he may have an idea of what’s going on, but isn’t sure what he’s hearing and seeing is real, or if the DTs are still playing with his head. When a beautiful fellow patient falls under suspicion, Peter realizes that the deadly mystery is offering him not only a new life, but also a new love. All he has to do now is find a crazed killer in a place where crazy is the norm . . .
