Bevan Orlando Haycock was born in 1928 in Ogden, Utah. His parents were Orlando Haycock and Wandamere Sorenson. He married Marilyn Croshaw, daughter of Frank Petty Croshaw and Emma Amelia Olson, in 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had six children.
