Concentrating on the Polish settlements in the central states - Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and Kansas - and the far western states, Kruszka continues his study of the largest Slavic group of the turn-of-the-century immigration. The volume includes an extensive index of all volumes in the series.
