From the college campus to life in the military during the Vietnam crisis. Surviving several close calls with the grim reaper leads the author to the conclusion that anyone reaching the age of twenty five is a walking miracle. Part two contains stories from his father, a WW I diary kept by his grandfather, and a diary from the time of his great, great grandfather.
