Excerpt from Annual Report of Research at the Forest Products Laboratory, 1964 The pilot plant will replace experimental pulping and papermaking facilities now located on six floors of the present main building - suitable for batch type pilot experiments but not for continuous pulp ing and papermaking research for which the new facilities are planned. Both of the other buildings will be 167 feet long and 51 feet wide. One, three stories high, will house laboratories for wood chemistry research and ad ministrative offices of the two divisions.
