The residents of Boston whose death was caused by phthisis in its various forms numbered males, 676; females, 585. The deaths from this cause is per cent. Of the whole number. Of the whole number Of deaths Of Boston residents by phthisis the 676 males form per cent. Of the total deaths Of male residents Of Boston, and the female deaths by this cause amount to per cent.
