2002 marks the 10th edition of the Summary of of State Student Assessment Programs and the 6th year that the Council of Chief State School Officers has conducted the Annual Survey on it own. The 2002 Survey, in addition to the prior nine years of data, provides a rich lode of information on the status of, and trends in, state and jurisdictional assessment policy and practice. Additionally, data from the Annual Survey of State Student Assessment Programs, 2001-2002, Volumes I and II, are available on CD-ROM.
