Schnitzer indicates that Moffat, Yard & Co. had mispelled his name in a letter, an error he hopes will not be made again in the inscription in the limited edition of Winter's Poems. On letterhead of Halle & Stieglitz, Bankers and Brokers, 30 Broad Street. Also, a small leaf with "Wm. M. Schnitzer" printed on it and an order form for a copy of Poems of William Winter filled out with Schnitzer's name and home address.

Woodbury writes that he has a complete collection of the bookplates made by S. Hollyer. He asks Tefft to send him a copy of his plate made by Hollyer in exchange for his own enclosed (no longer with item). On letterhead from 348 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston. With accompanying envelope addressed to Tefft at 22 East 64th St., New York City. Also with a bookplate of John Page Woodbury dated 1894 and two tickets to Sousa's (possibly John Philip Sousa's) concert at Manhattan Beach, dated July 19.
