Handwritten autograph letter from Lucy Larcom dated June 22, 1871. Written from Beverly Farms, Mass., and addressed to Mr. Currier (Thomas Florian Currier, the next-door neighbor of Larcom's patron, John Greenleaf Whittier) and discussing a shooting accident in which Currier's brother Horace (a close friend of Whittier) was wounded. Signed by Larcom at end of text. Also signed and dated by Larcom on the overleaf.
