Contains arbitration award, resolutions and rulings from, and agreements concluded between anthracite miners and mine operators under the auspices of: the Anthracite Coal Strike Commission, the Commission's Board of Conciliation, its successor the Anthracite Board of Conciliation, and the National War Labor Board. Cumulates documents from 1903-1945 relating to disputes over wages, hours and working conditions in the Anthracite Coal Region of Pennsylvania. The agreements are signed by representatives of the UMWA and the Anthracite Operators.
