Field work and laboratory investigations have been conducted with the aim to determine the stratigraphic relationships and the specific character of the various tills in the area. Mapping of kames, valley trains and such features was included to give a complete picture of the surficial geology. For this reason most attention is given to the character, distribution, and age relations of the tills.
