In 1970, God had given Ray Elkins a gift of spiritual birth. Soon, those who came to listen to the spiritual messengers of God who spoke, taught and healed through him, were also receiving gifts. As the angels saw our needs, we received answers to questions, to our prayers, guidance, healing, and many blessings. The seeds that had been planted within individual hearts were becoming a garden.In 1979, during the Cold War, some asked for God's protection and a safe place to be. A valley beneath the Dripping Springs Mountains was chosen as a place for people from many faiths who sought safety and protection by God to come from near and far. Ray's vision since 1970 of a peaceful valley in heaven had become a dream that was being answered for many who were searching for a safe place. The vision was becoming real. Here is part of our precious history you may not know. We were guided by the spiritual messengers of God, Aka, to a promised land. The angels led us on a route called Christmas Star to a valley. It lies beneath the former mining town of Christmas. It was named Christmas for the mine that was staked on Christmas day in 1902. Throughout the world, many would send cards and presents there to be postmarked from Christmas. When the Christmas mine and Christmas post office closed in the 1980s, the rural route was renamed, Dripping Springs Road, for the Dripping Springs mountains under which it lies. But many know we were guided in spirit and in truth by angels to follow the Christmas Star--in their preparation in hearts and minds for the coming of the Messiah. It is a way on which the spiritual messengers of God still guide those who wish to follow.In 1984, as the new year began, greater life from God was even then coming into the world.
