Bipolar Neutrosophic Projection Based Models for Solving Multi-attribute Decision Making Problems

Book Description

Bipolar neutrosophic sets are the extension of neutrosophic sets and are based on the idea of positive and negative preferences of information. Projection measure is a useful apparatus for modelling real life decision making problems. In the paper, we define projection, bidirectional projection and hybrid projection measures between bipolar neutrosophic sets. Three new methods based on the proposed projection measures are developed for solving multi-attribute decision making problems.

On Multi-Criteria Decision Making problem via Bipolar Single-Valued Neutrosophic Settings

Book Description

In this paper, the idea bipolar single-valued neutrosophic (BSVN) set was introduced. We also introduce bipolar single-valued neutrosophic topological space and some of its properties were characterized. Comparing Bipolar single-valued neutrosophic sets with score function, certainty function and accuracy function .Bipolar single-valued neutrosophic weighted average operator (Aω) and bipolar single-valued neutrosophic weighted geometric operator (Gω) were developed and based on Bipolar single-valued neutrosophic set, a multiple decision making problem were evaluated through an example to select the desirable one.

Multi Criteria Decision Making Based on Projection and Bidirectional Projection Measures of Rough Neutrosophic Sets

Book Description

In this paper, we define projection and bidirectional projection measures between rough neutrosophic sets. Then two new multi criteria decision making methods are proposed based on neutrosophic projection and bidirectional projection measures respectively. Then the proposed methods are applied for solving multiple criteria group decision making problems. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed methods.

VIKOR Based MAGDM strategy under Bipolar Neutrosophic Set Environment

Book Description

In this paper, we extend the VIKOR (VIsekriterijumska optimizacija i KOmpromisno Resenje) strategy to multiple attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) with bipolar neutrosophic set environment. In this paper, we first define VIKOR strategy in bipolar neutrosophic set environment to handle MAGDM problems, which means we combine the VIKOR with bipolar neutrosophic number to deal with MAGDM.

Neutrosophic Sets in Decision Analysis and Operations Research

Book Description

In information technology, the concepts of cost, time, delivery, space, quality, durability, and price have gained greater importance in solving managerial decision-making problems in supply chain models, transportation problems, and inventory control problems. Moreover, competition is becoming tougher in imprecise environments. Neutrosophic sets and logic are gaining significant attention in solving real-life problems that involve uncertainty, impreciseness, vagueness, incompleteness, inconsistency, and indeterminacy. Neutrosophic Sets in Decision Analysis and Operations Research is a critical, scholarly publication that examines various aspects of organizational research through mathematical equations and algorithms and presents neutrosophic theories and their applications in various optimization fields. Featuring a wide range of topics such as information retrieval, decision making, and matrices, this book is ideal for engineers, technicians, designers, mathematicians, practitioners of mathematics in economy and technology, scientists, academicians, professionals, managers, researchers, and students.
