Brothers, John Deane (ca. 1600-1660) and Walter Deane (b. 1615/1620) emigrated about 1637 from England to land near Taunton, Massachusetts. Descendants listed lived chiefly in New England. Includes some history and genealogical data about the Deane or Dene family in England to about 1300 A.D., without tracing the definitive connection with the immigrant brothers. Includes some family and genealogical data about other Dean families who immigrated to New England in the early 1600s.
