It is begins with two cousins who grew up in the old Wintergreen Community of Nelson County and had not seen each other for over fifty-year. They met at the old family graveyard, read the names of ancestors on the gravestone and begin to plan a dream of writing a book that could bring their family history to life by gather letter, maps, deeds, wills, court records, photographs, tin-types, news clippings and other archival papers and items that could and would help them piece together their past as a lasting record for future generations.
