State agencies are required to submit a written report concerning contract performance 90 days before renewing a contract for the outsourcing of a service or activity that has an original term value exceeding the sum of $10 million. Accordingly, the Department of Children and Families Substance Abuse and Mental Health (SAMH) Program submits this report prior to the renewal of Contract JH343 between the Department and Broward Behavioral Health Coalition, Inc. (BBHC). The Department's SAMH Program Office contracts with BBHC, as the managing entity, to manage the SAMH system of care, ensuring quality and best practices are provided to consumers and families seeking behavioral health services in Broward County, Circuit 17.
