Bryant Family History

Book Description

Excerpt from Bryant Family History: Ancestry and Descendants of David Bryant (1756) Of Springfield, N. J.; Washington Co;, Pa;; Knox Co;, Ohio, and Wolf Lake, Noble Co;, Ind An interest in the Bryant family led the compiler for more than thirty years to collect data. A desire to become a charter member of the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1890 was the motive to inquire into the military record of David Bryant. An increasing interest in the research came in meeting the Bryant family in the annual reunions. These reunions have afforded valuable aid in collecting history and traditions held in remembrance by the older members. How ever, traditions have not been used in the book except when so stated or verified by records. We thank the descendants who have assisted in any way. We wish to mention especially Miss Ida E. Fisher, of Hebron, Ind., and Mr. John M. Lindly, of Winfield, Iowa. We ask the indulgence of the Bryant family for any inaccuracies, omissions, or errors which may have occurred.
