He was a Sunday School teacher, Training Fellowship leader, Church Clerk for fourteen years, Associational Clerk for five years and a member of a large number of committees. He distinguished himself and rendered the most notable service as Church Treasurer for twenty-six years. No one would do it more unselfishly or with as little fuss and bother.
