Canadian Centre for Pollution Prevention

Book Description

Pollution prevention continues to remain in the forefront of our activities as we balance the goals of self- sufficiency and continuing in the role as facilitator of change. [...] In 1997, the mandate of the Centre became Canada wide and the name changed to the Canadian Centre for Pollution Prevention. [...] The percentage of total revenues generated by projects based in Sarnia for the past year (2004-2005) was 3.2 % of the total annual budget which is up slightly from the previous two years of 0.8 % and 0.5 %. Identifying and using local resources to support our activities and help protect the local environment would be a very advantageous activity to initiate. [...] These together with effective business planning and target setting C2P2 is poised to increase P2 awareness and adoption which is the impetus and purpose for all of the work carried out at the Centre. [...] Access to and the transfer of P2 information is the cornerstone of the business activities at C2P2.
