"This book is a companion to our award winning history, 'It is a good work'. In this venture we explore the cemetery which dates back to 1788 and the burial records of 83 families. Supplemental entries from our files and manuscripts, such as marriage, baptism, office, e.g., help to present a unique and rare perspective into the lives of those families."--Back cover.

St. John UCC [presumed to be United Church of Christ] Cemetery, apparently also known as Eagle Lake Cemetery, is assumed to also be located at Eagle Lake, Illinois. It is doubtful that this cemetery is indexed in the master index.
