Conflict was a part of his life beginning with King Herod the Great's attempt to kill him when he was but an infant to the Jews' crucifying him when he was about thirty-five years of age. He came to his own, but his own did not receive him. This dramatic novel reveals what Jesus himself saw, experienced, thought, and felt throughout the events, conflicts, and trials of his three-year ministry, suffering, death, resurrection, and ascension. In the process it reveals what was the ruling passion and purpose of his life on earth. You, the reader, then, are able to see, experience, empathize, and sympathize with Jesus and his life's purpose as never before.
