In the preparation of this handbook original sources have been used as far as available, but it has not been found desirable to encumber the text with a great mass Of notes and references. The book is not based upon another, but with the exception of terms and quoted definitions it is an attempt at presenting the result Of assimilation and investigation with the Object previously stated.
