Mooney-Garner Ancestry


Book Description

David Mooney (ca. 1835-1876) moved from Tennessee to Indiana, and married Amanda Sechrist about 1856. They settled in Illinois, and he was in the Illinois infantry during the Civil War (partly as a prisoner of war in Andersonville). They later moved to Fremont County, Iowa. Descendants lived in the midwest, in Pacific coast states and elsewhere. Includes some English and other ancestry.
