The present volume is the results of 6 years' work by our team, during which time 2300 CT scans of the pituitary region were carried out. This was made possible by the close collaboration between physicians and technicians in our neuroradiological department, as well as by numerous corresponding physi cians. We wish to express our gratitude for their confidence and our sincere thanks to our colleagues at Besan90n, Dijon, Grenoble, Lyon, Montpellier, and Strasbourg. Furthermore, we especially wish to thank the patients who willingly accepted the difficult requirements of these studies.
