Grand Lodge: For the State of California, and Masonic Jurisdiction Thereunto Belonging, of Free and Accepted Masons, in Union With the National Grand Lodge of the United States of North America, as Revised and Adopted Sept; 19th, A. L. 5867 Sec. 8. The following regular committees, to consist of three members each, Shall be appointed by the Grand Mase ter at the commencement of each Annual Communication, namely: A Committee on Credentials, a' Committee on Grievances, a Committee on Finance, a Committee on Char ter's, By -laws, and Returns of Subordinate Lodges.) In ad dition to which the Grand Master elect shall appoint a stand ing committee of five on Foreign Correspondence. Special committees may also be appointed by the Grand Master whenever it may be deemed necessary by the Grand Lodge.
