The United States Constitution is the oldest written constitution in the world. But what were its origins? Is it a “living” organism or, as the only alternative, a dead one? What influence, if any, has the U.S. Constitution had on Asian countries? Twenty scholars from around the world set out to pose answers to these questions. The result of their efforts is this book which looks at the U.S. Constitution from a global perspective.
