Here is a story for the young and the young at heart. In today's fast-paced world of bigger, better and faster mindsets; what's a family to do? The Montgomerys are about to find out. Caught up in the ever-demanding "Keeping up with the Joneses" syndrome, the family is blessed enough to experience some life-changing moments that are inspired by a mysterious bookstore, "Pages in Tyme." With the help of a book entitled "The River's Journey," the family becomes closer. At first, the father doesn't see the value in spending "quality time" with his wife and kids. After much hope and prayerful thinking, he finally comes around in a way that is sure to make everyone shed a tear of joy. Kirk C. Gallenkamp was born and raised in Fresno California. He currently resides in Bakersfield California. Kirk has been blessed with three of the most incredible children; Kevin, Austin and Kambria. They are major inspirations in his life. Kirk first came to know the Lord at the age of twenty seven after going through his own youthful troubles. Kirk is currently attending Valley Bible Fellowship in Bakersfield California. Kirk has always had a passion to become a writer. However, it wasn't until the Lord laid it upon his heart several years ago that he needed to write a children's book. One based on Scripture, one that can keep the interest of a "non-churched" kid as well as be life-applicable for even the most grounded biblical family.
