Eight Skulls of Teversham

Book Description

This story is centered on the seventh century and is based primarily in Scotland. It concentrates on witchcraft and the ancient art of divination and folklore. The main character, Eric Butterworth, was seeking revenge after his entire family was killed by witches. Only he survived the horrific event, and he swore to pursue them and destroy their wickedness. But would he be a match for such powerful magic that had existed for thousands of years, and what was the secret that the witches possessed for all those years? The answers lay with eight witches in caves in the highlands of Scotland.

Stories Beyond Belief 2

Book Description

Most of the following stories have been written in Scotland and Sweden. My research for the Harrington curse took place in Aberlady near North Berwick, Scotland. My latest work, Eight Skulls of Teversham, was written partly in Inverness, taking in the atmosphere of the misty hills of Scotlands highlandssuch a beautiful sight to behold. Double exposure was also created with a location of Scotland in mind, taking me back to my ancestors, the Scott clan, and the famous Sir Walter Scott. The stories created in Sweden were cracked porcelain, which covered a wide area of mental and physical abuse. This fictitious book was based on factual events and concerned itself with the life of Ruth Ashley, a psychiatric nurse. I am convinced that a ghost called Sarah influenced my writing, something called automatic writing. For the Love of Charlotte was written in the United States of America, and I must confess greatly influenced by the 9/11 attack on the twin towers in 2001. Again the writing was influenced by ghosts. It is my dream that sooner or later, someone will read this work and consider writing a screenplay for television or movie. Now wouldnt that be good? Teversham is actually in Cambridgeshire, but for the story, there is one on the Scottish border, both a town and a village where the eight skulls existed. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be mistaken for the small village that is in Cambridgeshire.

Out of the Jar

Book Description

This book is a collection of my poetry over the years inspired by the life I have led working in the care setting and traveling all over the world. I hope you enjoy my work and may find it useful to use in the right settings, for instance “Those in Grief” has been used in funerals. My life has been rather colorful to say the least, and I have been in a few situations facing danger and adventure, bringing me to the present day. Now at sixty-three, I can reflect on this and laugh at the funny events and sigh with relief at actually surviving other situations. I consider each event as a blip in my life and nothing more. Yes, I do have nightmares from my worst experiences as a teenager, but I just thank God that I survived to tell the tale.

Natasha and Crystal meet up with witches, vampires and many strange aliens as they pursue their quest with them at the start of the journey is a android called Foster, a goblin called Shimick and Shanice a teenage witch. They travel back where the witches began, at their origins in Scotland. They were said to have obtained their powers as a result of super nova in space, this caused meteors to hail from the skies containing high levels of gamma radiation, which as a rule would be harmful to anybody. The energy omitted from the rock gave them great powers that they were unable to understand or appreciate in some cases, this caused a division in the tribe of cave dwellers resulting in the introduction of two kinds of witches, the white witches who were peace lovers who used their powers for good and the dark witches who were evil and used their powers to destroy and dominate other species.
