El objetivo de este libro es la utilización de la encuesta como una estrategiaen la investigación científica, en particular en las ciencias sociales. Estaobra presenta las principales acciones analíticas que se pueden realizar en elmanejo de los datos obtenidos y en la elaboración del reporte de la indagación. Los capítulos centrales se estructuran en función de cuatro componentes centrales de la encuesta: 1) El diseño y prueba de las preguntas que la integran,2) La determinación de la población y muestra aleatoria, 3)La aplicación delinstrumento a través del uso de diferentes formas y 4) La sistematización de los datos obtenidos y análisis e interpretación de los mismos, mediante el usode las herramientas electrónico-computacionales. Student political action has been a major and recurring feature of politics across the globe throughout the past century. Students have been involved in a full range of public issues, from anti-colonial movements, anti-war campaigns, civil rights and pro-democracy movements to campaigns against neoliberal policies, austerity, racism, misogyny and calls for climate change action. Yet student protest actions are frequently dismissed by political elites and others as 'adolescent mischief' or manipulation of young people by duplicitous adults.
