The City of Waconia is proposing a project to reconstruct TH 5 between west of Oak Avenue and TH 284 from a 2-lane rural section to a 4-lane divided urban section with improved non-motorized facilities. The project also includes new local connections, a new traffic signal at Cherry Street, and access management.
