Presents abstracts of papers given at an environmental quality management seminar which focused on contaminants in the Fraser River estuary and Burrard Inlet. Presentations were made on key findings from the Fraser River Estuary Management Program, studies completed through the Burrard Inlet Environmental Action Program, and other monitoring and assessment activities being conducted in the estuary and inlet external to those two programs. Also includes summaries of two discussion groups on the use of environmental management criteria and objectives and on critical monitoring needs in the estuary and inlet. The appendix contains an inventory of Fraser River Estuary Management Program research and monitoring projects. Information provided for each project includes name and description of project, sponsoring agency or organization, name and phone number of contact person, sampling period, and parameters measured.
