Book Description

Hendrick Albright married Anna Folsom; they emigrated from Germany to New York with their five sons, settling near the present site of Albany before 1700. Descendants of their sons have lived in New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Canada. The generations listed here come primarily from two of Hendrik and Anna's grandsons, Ludwig (b. 1731), who married Maria Keller (b. 1733), and Jacob (b. 1749), who married Sophia Catherine Welder (b. 1749). Both of these grandsons lived in Alamance County, North Carolina, with their families.

He moved to Passyunk, Pennsylvania before 1669. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio and later scattered throughout the United States.

He married (1) Almira Bryant (d. 1842) 1835 at Monroe County, N.Y. She died at Oakland Co., Michigan. He married (2) Louisa Frances Kennedy (1836-1905) 1863 at Marshalltown, Iowa. She was born in Haywood Co., Tennessee.
