Results are reported of three burnout tests in an experimental test building, using a wood crib fuel load of 6 lb/sq ft, representi * ng combustible contents, and a structural design load of 40 lb/ sq ft applied to the floor or roof above the test room.Measurements were made of temperature, radiation, smoke, gas composition, and structural deflection. A discussion of the fire performance of materials and methods of construction, and conclusions with regard to specific fire-protective objectives are presented.(Author).
