Book Description

A natural gas pipeline is proposed by the Northwest Alaskan Pipeline Company, which would follow the Alaska Highway and Tanana River and cross streams that are tributaries to the Tanana River. As part of planning and construction of this pipeline, baseline environmental information is needed on late fall and winter abundance and distribution of fish in the upper Tanana basin. A study was performed in the area from Big Delta to the Canadian border from September 26 to November 18, 1977 and from February 25 to April 26, 1978. This report is a final version.
