Die obern Wolken streifig und wollig, die untern schwer. Mir schienen das gute Anzeichen. Ich hoffte, nach einem so schlimmen Sommer einen guten Herbst zu genießen. Um zwölf in Eger, bei heißem Sonnenschein; und nun erinnerte ich mich, daß dieser Ort dieselbe Polhöhe habe wie meine Vaterstadt, und ich freute mich, wieder einmal bei klarem Himmel unter dem funfzigsten Grade zu Mittag zu essen.
